Retired teachers need your support.

San Joaquin, Division 20 has 700 members. CRTA has much to offer members,such as, legislation on healthcare and pensions. Division 20 contacted prospective members at a table that members staffed during Borders' Educator's Week.

Scholarship

Division 20 awards six scholarships of $600 each to graduating high school seniors who are planning a career in education. Scholarships are financed through donations, memorials and wills.

Legislation

Division 20 supports legislation on healthcare and pension equity.

Membership

Division 20 would like an increase of 10% membership with an accompaning increase in participation.

Community

Members are encouraged to record the number of hours of community service. Retired teachers are recognized in the community through service contributions.
